Centrifugal I.D.-fans
Centrifugal ID fans with impellers of 1,350 – 3,800 mm diameters are manufactured in multiple designs which can be explained by wider application possibilities, if compared to axial ID fans.
Centrifugal ID fans can be conventionally divided in two groups: ID fans of single-side and double-side suction. As a rule (but not always) double-side suction ID fans are designed on the base of existing units of single-side suction if there is a necessity to increase capacity 1.8…1.9 times and maintained developed pressure at the same level. Centrifugal single-side and double-side suction ÄÍ and ÄÍõ2 ID fans are designed for flue gas removal from furnace of stationary steam boilers with capacities up to 480 t/h, given residual dust content in flue gas doesn’t exceed 2 g/m3. ID fans are allowed to be applied at processing plants for removing nonaggressive gas which is not more than 2 g/m3 dust-laden with solid particles and with indices of abrasiveness and sticking tendency similar to those of flue gas ash. Maximum allowable temperature of handled flue gas at the inlet of ID fan must not be above +250 °C. High-pressure centrifugal single and double-side suction ID fans of ÄÍ-Ô and ÄÍõ2Ô types are meant for flue gas removal from furnace of stationary steam boilers with capacities up to 480 t/h and increased resistance of gas channel. ID fans of this type are also designed for installation at processing plants for removing nonaggressive gas which is not more than 2 g/m3 dust-laden with solid particles and with abrasive index similar to one of flue gas ash. It is highly recommended to install ID fans of these types instead of other types of industrial fans meant for handling mediums containing impurity substances tending to stick on impeller blades. Maximum allowable temperature of handled flue gas at the inlet of induced-draft fan must not be above +250 ◦C. High-pressure centrifugal single and double-side suction ID fans of Ä and Äõ2 types are designed for flue gas removal from furnace of stationary steam boilers with capacities up to 640 t/h. They are also applicable for installation at processing plants for removing nonaggressive gas which is not more than 2 g/m3 dust-laden with solid particles and with abrasive index similar to one of flue gas ash. Maximum allowable temperature of handled flue gas at the inlet of induced-draft fan must not be above +250 ◦C.
